Good day,
I have some DVDs that I would like to convert it to an iPod 5G format because I wanna watch it there.
Now, let's ignore the ripping the DVDs issue. I downloaded some episodes of a TV Series online. Luckily, it includes subtitles.
I mainly use Freemake Video Converter. It's okay. But of course, the more than I limit the file size, the more it compresses the video, the lesser quality. H.264 is not allowed on my iPod 5G.
Now, there's a feature there wherein you can use the subtitles includes with the downloaded files. The original resolution of the video is 720p. Now, I'm converting it into a 320x420 iPod 5G format.
The problem is, the subtitles are a bit large like it occupies almost half of the entire videos.
Another thing, I would like to convert the videos to an mp4 format that is also readable by my iPod 5G, but hopefully you guys have like some special compression software/encoder which would apply the newest compression technologies out there like XVid, x264, Nero Digital or anything that compresses a video that makes a high quality but smaller file size and hopefully, it is still readable by my iPod 5G.
Please help me out guys.
Thanks.
P.S
The entire season is in MKV format, it's almost 2 GB. The iPod 5G converted files were like more than that, still with a bit low quality.
