hello,
i am trying to make a dvd for playback in stand alone dvdplayer connected with TV.
When i play the video in pc i use km player. I use this video renderer VMR9 Renderless (which is applied when changing the preset Quality 3GHZ from video advanced tab)
This renderer shows all the details of the picture.

so, i am wondering how a stand alone dvd player works.
what video renderer is used for playback in TV.
There are differences from brands to brands?
The rendering happens in dvdplayer or in the tv?
I would have a problem playback the DVD to different DVD players?

i dont know if that matters but the video bitrate target is 8200

Each DVD player renders the video according to the specs of its internal chip. Find out its part number and run a search eg in internet.

You've got no control over how any given DVD player renders the video anyway. All you can do is make a properly compliant DVD Video disc and the player you use to play the disc will do what it does. If there's nothing wrong with the video encoding and it's a compliant DVD video disc, it's pretty hard to go wrong. Any DVD player should play it fine. If some players happen to do it with a little better or worse quality than others, well there's nothing you can do about that.
