Locked screen: CCE does not encode

Hi there, this may be a newbie Q, but...

I am running WXP. CCE encoding process sometimes does not start and I discovered that this occurs when I lock the screen.

Any idea? I guess DVD2SVCD tries to automatically push the Encode button, and that cannot be done in this case...
