View Full Version : Last versions of DVD2SVD are cutting the final seconds in two MPG.

The problem is that the process create a little MPG with a few seconds to the final. Why? i don't know.
The same process in 1.0.5.4 not have this problem.

The bitrate table i checked is "Between 0 and 120 min Use 1 CD size 74", but the error is the same with 80 min CD.

I think there are a problem in the "Multiplexing and cutting" section with the "Cut Point" in 731 MB (¿740Mb-5Mb-4Mb subtitles?)

If change the *.d2s and put "bbMPEGCDSize=734" and rerun with Crash Recovery from "mutiplexing and cutting", i obtain only one MPG and one CD image.

Does Someone have this problem too?

I do know:D

DVD2SVCD is consistentily calculating the right bitrate to create a mpeg file with 800MB (if using 1 CD). However, bbmpeg maximum file size is 795MB. Thus, it is cutting that file at a wrong point/size. Edit the bbmpegsize line in the *d2s file and use crash recovery from "muxing and cutting".

Last Versions of DVD2SVCD (1.0.6.4) have same problem for me. If i put Destination -> 1 CD 800 MB, the program cut del last seconds and generate two *.mpg, but the last is very little. Then i modify de *.d2s and do Crash Recovery. Finally i've got one *.mpg.

There is not any way to correct this "bug" within the program?. Do really is a BBmpeg "bug".
