Hi i'm currently working for a project that are to start streaming of mpeg2 coded films to a VOD market.
The content providers has said that we will get Digibeta and DVD platters to base out content from.
So my job now is looking into a process that can:

1. Decrypt the film
2. Transcode from VBR on the DVD to a given bitrate CBR AND insert Sequence Headers ocne pr GOP
3. Keep the origional .AC3 soundstream
4. Extract the subtitle i have choosen and encode it into the stream as the video (same layer, on the black bars downstairs! :))
5. Multiplex it alltogether to a .mpg file that i can use

Any ideas on what app can give the best automatic process? (ive used dvd2avi, dvd2svcd and dvdx1.7)
