Merging .m2ts Files

I bought Lord of the Rings Extended Edition on Blu-ray. Each movie comes on tow discs. I used tsmuxer to put the two files back together. There's a five or so second gap between the two files and audio on the second half is out of sync by a few seconds. Is there a way to fix these two problems or will I have to leave them separate? Thanks for any help.

Thanks iSeries. I got it down to about a quarter of a second using the "Blu-ray audio PES" suggested in the other thread, but other method seems like a lot of work. I think I'll just do them separate and just load them into MPC. Thanks again.
