Question about MeGUI Setup

I've got Windows 7 64 bit. I've used MeGUI before, but it's been a couple of years. I've downloaded MeGUI_2050_x86. I want to use the 64 bit x264, so I've got the option selected in MeGUI. Which Avisynth version do I need? Does x264 64 bit need (or work better with) a 64 bit Avisynth or will it work just fine with the standard version?

If I need a 64 bit Avisynth, where do I download it from? If the standard Avisynth is ok, then do I use the latest 2.6.0 alpha 3 build?

For your use case I suggest to stick with Avisynth 2.58 (x86). This is the build which MeGUI will point you to when starting the application and it is missing Avisynth.

Thanks for the response. So, I'll use Avisynth 2.5.8 (x86) and it will work fine with x264 64-bit.
