Don't know if this is possible.
I have a FTA Satellite receiver that I recorded a show to a flash drive. The files are already encoded in H264 MPEG4.
When I open the files this is what they look like in Windows7:
"Name of recording".001
"Name of recording".002
.IDX
.IFO
MPEG2 transport Stream (.TRP)
.TXT
I Changed the file names:
MPEG2 transport Stream (.TRP) to nameofrecording.000.ts
nameofrecording.001 to nameofrecording.001.ts
nameofrecording.002 to nameofrecording.002.ts
I did not use the .IDX .IFO and .TXT files
I used Videoredo Tvsuite H264 V 4.20.5.600 to combine the New .ts files and Edit out commercials. That worked great.
My question is this: What I want to do is burn this show to a DVD5 and be able to play it in a bluRay player. The file is less than 4.7GB in size. Does it have to be Authored?
I do have Nero Platinum HD V11 can this do it?
Thanks in advance.

Hi!
If I understand you correctly, you now have a .TS file with video and audio combined. If so, just run "tsMuxer" and "drag & drop" the .TS file it onto the main "tsMuxer" window.
Then, at the bottom of the window, select "Blu-ray".
Depending on your system and the filesize, it should take anywhere from one to five minutes for the process to be completed...

Thank you very much for your help setarip_old.
Just to make sure that I explained it correctly. I used videoRedo
to edit out the commercials.
VideoRedo gives me these options to save the file as after editing:
MPEG2
MPEG2 transport Stream (*.TS)
MPEG2 Elementary Stream (*.M2V)
MPEG2 DVR-MS (*.DVR-MS)
MPEG2 M2TS (*.M2TS)
H264 transport Stream (*.TS)
H264 MP4 (*.MP4)
H264 Elementary Stream (*.h264)
H264 M2TS (*.M2TS)
MPEG4 (*.mp4)
Windows Media 9 WMV (*. WMV)
Which one of these should I save it as before I use tsMuxer??
After tsMuxer I can burn it to a DVD5 and it will play in a bluRay player??
Thanks again. Sorry I'm a newbie and trying to learn.

tsmuxer accepts many formats, just try it yourself.
normally it should play, however there are DVD-RW on the market :), again for testing

Thanks Ghitulescu. Sounds great. I will give it a try and post back. I do have a couple of DVD-RW around here somewhere. Will give it a shot and you are correct, have nothing to loose.
thanks.

Update:
I edited the show with VideoRedo and saved it as a .ts file.
I then followed Ghitulescu instructions and used tsMuxer and ended up with a two files:
BDMV
CERTIFICATE(This file is empty)
Not sure how to procede from here.
I have a DVD+RW that I would like to burn the show on and play it in a BluRay player.
I do have Nero Platinum HD V11 .
Do I use a DVD burner or a BluRay burner to burn the show and which files do I need to use out of the BDMV folder??
If I do use a regular DVD burner what choice do I use??
DVD-rom(UDF)
DVD-Video
AVCHD(TM)Video
DVD Rom Boot
DVD Rom ISO
DVD ROM UDF/ISO
DVD Rom Secure Disk
Thanks for all the help and my ignorence.
