I have my toolbar set on hide in control panel, yet it never goes away, a real pain in the butt. Any ideas? T.I.A.

Your question has nothing to do with the purpose of the Doom9 Forum.

You'd undoubtedly have more success posting this question (and your subsequent one) at a Windows-specific forum...

What toolbar is it? It doesn't sound like a Yahoo or Google toolbar.

It's not one of those spyware ones...?

You could try un-installing it instead.

If that's the case and he's using XP, he could right-click (on taskbar)>Properties>Auto-hide the taskbar.
Probably similar for other Windows operating systems.

My mistake it is the taskbar and it is in Win 7 Home Professional, Thanks for the reply.
