Hi,

I create a new scenario in Scenarist and I create a new track with a m2v file. Once I have drag and dropped the file on the track editor, the TimeCode shows "00:59:45;00" for the movie start. Why not "00:00:00;00" ???? moreover, I cannot change the value.

Could you explain why the start movie timecode is not always at "00:00:00;00" ?

Thanks.

That's normal. It's the timecode contained within the MPEG2 file.

You can use VobEdit to check that for other movies too.
I don't know either why they contain such strange time-codes at the beginning, but it is so. We have to accept that.

Did you use CCE to re-encode the m2v? If so, did you remember to change the time code to 00:00:00:00 from 01:00:00:00? You get the problem you mentioned if you missed the above step.

Actually I use the m2v file generated by the Stream process option of Smart Ripper.
Thanks you for your answers.

By the way, is there a software that can reset the timecode ?
