Hi,

I added a wav file (16bit, 48KHz Stereo , which was imported in Scenarist as Button Sound) to my selection and activated button states in button Info window.

Nothing is heard when I playback the BD...

Any Ideas?

More detail plz, your Scenarist version, the file format, the total time of the button, etc...

Thanks for your reply.
The scn version is 5.2, the file is WAV 48,16bit stereo, and its almost 3frames.

Thanks.

From what i know about that, your button can't be more that 2 seconds and when you import this you select button. If you don't see any message error it should work.

Thats strange, cause all is correct and of course no error when muxing.
Is there a possibility that 3 frames are too short???

Tbh good question, why don't you make a 'test sound button' about 1 second ? This will be fast and will be a good idea about if it's possible or not.

Sure, First you insert the .wav file and select the ButtonSound option not the LPCM,
then you go under your IG menu -> epoch#x etc. until you find the desired slice. If you double click on it it brings out the Edit Button Info.
There you have option for button sound in Selected and Activated state. Just drag the sound from the Data Tree to the desired state.

Let me know if it worked for you.

Thanks.

You're doing it in the wrong way. You need to create a SoundBDMV virtual asset first, then add all the button sounds you want to SoundBDMV. After this you can associate sounds to all your buttons.

Mmm i guess i'm doing something wrong.

First of all i make a new virtual asset.

I drag my button.wav file and it ask buttonsound or lpcm. I choose buttonsound. After that i add the wav on the soundBDMV.

After that i right click on my menu and i select button properties. i select a button and i select the wav and i click on apply. Sadly i get this :

Error : When all the Secondary Audio and/or interactive sound entries fields in STN_tables ,the Audio Mix App Flag is set to [Applied Secondary Audio/Interactive Sound]. [PlayListID:128]
Error : [MUX] Can not write MUX file(s) : Could not create MUX XML File(Invalid [Clip/Stream Data][Scenario Title])

here's a screnshoot : http://imageshack.us/f/52/crasheq.jpg

Where is my mistake ?

Click on a PlayList in the StreamTree, and look at the Property box. About 6 items down you have 'Audio Mix App Flag'. On any PlayList with a menu on it (the main menu PL, the feature PL if you have a PopUp, etc), change that to the other setting and try it again.

Seriously, is there 1 thing that you and mp3dom don't know in Scenarist ? lol ^^

Thx a lot , as usual it works perfectly :) :thanks:

That comment made me wonder exactly how long I've been doing this... Just over 5 1/2 years of using this software. And I'm doing something new (to me) for the first time on a current project... The fun just never ends!

Glad I could help.
