Hi there

When I was using earlier versions of DVD2SVCD 1.04 after i created the svcds the images would end up being 2 full cd's or 3 or however many cd's i wanted, I mean they where always 800 odd meg but now ive noticed that the first cd or cds are totally full but the last one is always short like 600 meg or less. It must be something in the settings im doing wrong. Im using 1.06 build 2 and have just got build 4

I normally have the following settings

One pass VBR
Q factor 17
Image quality priority 10
Min avg unticked
Max average 3000

If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You could try changing the Q factor to =5 that should help you regulate on which size it will end up being...

one pass vbr, by its nature, can never give you acurate file size predictability. As was suggested, using a Q of 5 will force a "cbr like" bitrate which will help. Of course you might just try cbr or cbr with TS 2,1 for dead accurate results if the bitrate is > 2000.
