Hi-
I'm not positive I understand the question but:
You can't watch it encode when using Fast Recompress. If you don't mind taking a speed hit, you can watch the encode while using Full Processing.

thanx!
how can i choose that in GK? i couldn't find where i choose to do fast recompress or full... i am using the "levels" and "vobSub" filters in the .avs file, and i think i must use full mode to have them work... since i recently changed my cpu, i can't sense what it is doing...
where can i choose that?
is it true i must use full processing for filters to work?
isn't there a .avs filter that opens a preview box during procesing?
thanx!

1) You can't choose whether GKnot does full or fastprocessing, it does fast always.
2) You don't need full processing to be able to use VobSub and Levels (not VobSub, but the subtitle-plugin anyway), because Avisyntyh supports them and they are YUV compatible.

to use full processing in conjuction with gknot you would need to manually load the avs files into vdub and set the bitrate yourself

ok: for the speed i will stay with the fast-recompress: but back to the original question:
is there a preview filter/plugin for Avisynth?
thanx for you replys!
