Slideshow program

A little guidance please. I have hundreds of pics on my hard drive, I have used Nero a few times and am not crazy about it, Does anyone have any suggestions as to a good program that makes a slideshow with extras such as music etc. Free is good but will be glad to pay for a descent one. T.I.A.

Are you wanting the slideshow to play on a DVD player or just a PC?
If it's the latter, try Irfanview (you'll probably have to download and install the plugins exe too). It's a free image viewer which has a slideshow function and it'll add music etc, and save the whole thing as a single exe.
