Hi all,
During the past i used Dostudio which use java menu authoring. When you click on your remote you see the java menu and that's all.
The question is : is it possible to mix both (java+normal) and if it's possible, when you hit your menu button on your remote, what do you see ? The java or the other menu ?
Thanks in adv for reply,
Max.

You can't have them both at the same time... They can be on the same disc though. To activate Java menus, you have to jump to a Java Title on the disc that contains the BDJO/JAR files. Once there, all HDMV is non-functional. If you Title-jump out of the Java code (i.e., if your code jumps to an HDMV title, not the title button on the remote), then the Java engine shuts down and the HDMV take over...
There's some discs that do this in a way for special interactive features. Like the whole disc will be HDMV except for some fancy bonus feature (like a game or something). When you select the game, you might see the usual loading icon and then eventually the game starts. (You can also jump from one Java title to another to get the same result.)
But only one menu set is active at a time.
