Hi all,

I am a newbie in BD reauthoring, though I have no problem following BD guides and can learn to use software on the go.

Anyway, I have a relatively simple Blu-Ray project that I've been working on and was hoping the more experienced users here can give me some pointers on.

Basically, I've bought two Blu-Ray versions of The Leopard, the Criterion Region 1 and the Pathe Region 2, with the latter having a much better restoration and video quality.

I was thinking of transferring the encode of the movie from the French Blu-Ray to the Criterion, keeping everything else on the Criterion Blu-ray untouched (Audio, subtitles, menus, etc).

So far, I've been tinkering with TSmuxer trying to achieve that, but with only moderate results. I've added and synched the audio and subtitles to the French encode and renamed the files to match the original Criterion filenames, placing them in the same folder.
At first it looked fine, with the movie starting fine and some chapters working all right, but I must have missed something because the movie freezes somewhere in the middle and there are other minor problems.

Anyway, here are my main issues: What other "associations" I need to make in order to ensure that the new encode is fully connected and compatible to the Criterion menus and runs smoothly all the way? Are there any hidden menu functions/features tied to the encode that might be preventing the new transfer from working properly?
Any user-friendly software that can help me with the project?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

One thought is to try the other freeware muxer on it--EasyBDLite.

Another is re: "rename the files placing them in the same folder"--make sure these include all of the mpls, clpi, and m2ts files for the feature. Dunno how complex this might be; I don't have this disc myself.
