Hi svdf,

I assume you want a VCD compliant PAL mpeg file so you can watch on your DVD/VCD standalone. Since PAL VCD compliant requires certain resolution (352x288) and 25fps, I guess the easiest way is to re-encode the NTSC Mpeg. I have a system that accomodate both PAL & NTSC, and so I don't have to do this for my own use, but sometimes I did converted PAL clips to NTSC compliant VCD (352x240 & 29.97 fps), for my friends that only have NTSC system.

Anyway, just use TMPGEnc, it will do the job for you.

svdf,

Yes. TMPGEnc will do that. Just load the PAL template (i.e. the "Load" button at the bottom right corner), and everything will be converted to PAL.

Cheers,
