I have this movie Blu-ray 1080p @high 5.1 when i play it with my PS3 it shows only audio with a blank video, i looked over the net and all i have found is Tsmuxer to downgrade from 5.1 to 4.1 but that didn't work for me it still gives me the same results.

This is one of the 4 mt2s parts after using Tsmuxer

I am not 100% sure for the PS3, but Blu-ray spec is 1920 x 1080. Your 1920 x 800 is not compliant. :(

You may be able to play the file 00000.m2ts, but not as a Blu-ray disc.

@InDaHouse

Hi!

1) You appear to have used different versions of x264 to compress these two clips

2) Regardless of anything else, why was the source material 1920x800 (That's not the resolution of the original, commercial Blu-ray)? I ask because ANY non-compliance issues can make trying to trackdown problems impossible

3) What software and procedures did you use to rip your original source material?

1920x800 with 5 Re-Frames is within level 4.1 while 8 Re-Frames exceeds 4.1 decoded picture buffer size.

Use doom9 ref blueray post : http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=154533

Use x264 to 'valid' the file, and the job will be done

I'm sorry but I forgot to mention that I use external HDD to store my movies and play it using ps3.

I got most of the movies from my friend and most of them were MKV. All I needed is to convert them to mt2s using Tsmuxer and everything went well beside two movies which both of them are @high 5.1

I was looking at other forums and I found this

"If you try to mux it with tsmuxer and change the profile from 5.1 to 4.1 this dosen' change the level it only cheats the PS3 to think it's 4.1 and results in a movie with sound and no picture."
