M2ts and ts files won't render on raid 5 array but will on single disk

M2ts and ts files won't render on raid 5 array but will on single disk.

I don't understand this problem. I have mkv, mp4, avi etc. on my raid 5 array and they render fine in MPC-HC, only when I copy a blu-ray transport stream to the array it won't render.

If it is originally copied to a single disk it will render and play fine.

If it is copied to raid 5 then back to single disk it won't render.

Anybody experience this and know what the problem is??

Never mind, I just noticed that all files being written to the array are being corrupted by the controller even though the controller says the array is optimal.

Time to send it back.:(

May I ask the maker ?
I had some QNAP array (SS-839), which took me 50 minutes to return.
Then a Areca RAID-6 came and held the promise.

The controller was an Adaptec 6405, which is their new 6gb/s controller. It was linked to an Intel SAS 6gb/s expander than to Hitachi 6gb/s 5K3000 2tb HDD's

After a few days it started writing corrupted files but said the array was optimal condition. It would read the original files I wrote to the array still OK.

I first started with an Areca 1880i and it blue screened Windows XP x64 2 to 3 times a day. (I returned it)

I have been using the Adaptec 5000 series for years and never had a glitch. So I ordered an Adaptec 5805 - even though it's 3gb/s it works.
