Hey all I had huge issue with the whole header compression thing with the 4.2.0 merge (shrinking down 1080 to 720)and while my PC played them fine (KMplayer) my LG BD630 could not via USB. So I deleted those files and re encoded them using an older version along with Handbrake to do my conversions. (using the original 1080 files that I never muxed)

Now after redoing several I tested them on my LG and still no luck. It seems to play most of my Mkv files but not the ones I've re encoded... It will play the 1080p sources fine as well? I'm totally confused. I thought the compression header was the problem but now I don't know. I'm using 3.1.0 on mkvmerge and I'm not sure what version on Handbrake, sorry. Is there another program that I could try encoding with? Has anyone experienced these problems? Thanks for you help guys.

Ripbot264's default MKV profile should be dandy ...

Well I checked out ripbot264. I appreciate the help but I did not like it. I lacked some of the options I was looking for. Are they anymore programs I could try out?
