Sanity Check - How to confirm Spruce Maestro is making two overlays for a 16x9 menu

Spruce Maestro normally renders a 4x3 letterboxed overlay 'automatically' for 16x9 menus.

How can I confirm that it has created this letterboxed overlay - I can't seem to rip it with subrip.

Does anyone have any suggestions of a tool that can help confirm my suspicions?

There are many ways, DVDRemakePro, MenuEdit (old), probably PGCEdit. You can also watch the compiled dvd in a dvd-player setup in both 16:9 (for widescreen subpicture) and 4:3 (for 4:3 subpicture)
