Is it just me that just get a line of crap chars when trying to connect here with netscape nowadays?

don't know about "netscape" but mozilla works perfectly here and main site.

Since yesterday evening there has been problems with one of the servers replying gibberish.
I reported the problem to Doom9 and he told me that came from my ISP, but I see some other people also have this problem.

I'm using IE 6.0 and I also got a lot of that crap.
Refreshing however sorted things out.

here = this forum? Nobody has touched the server config in weeks. One of the site servers was making problems yesterday.. maybe that's the reason for your problems.

I using IE6 and it's ok. You must go to Tools|Internet Options...|Advanced and enable USE HTTP 1.1 (and if you using proxy USE HTTP 1.1 THROUGH PROXY CONNECTIONS). After this everything back to normal for me :)

Using IE5 and see only:
