audio lasts 2 minutes longer than video stream =(

well i have a little problem:

i wanted to encode ghost in the shell (in german), but cant use my video source (old vhs).

so i took the audio from vhs and the video from a french dvd, but the audio stream lasts 77:57min and the video stream 75:40min =(

so anybody got an idea how to mux this (sync!)

if they are different frame rates then you need to change the frame rate, probably of the audio
but if the audio has 2 additional minutes of sound (ie its just more and its not played quicker) then you will need to clip off the part of the sound that doesnt match the video

...but when it 's sync in the beginning it will more and more desync in the end =(

i tried to change the frame rate of the video stream, but though nandub accepted the new frame rate (was 26.093 instead of 25) it didnt change the length of the video (as it's supposed to be, right?)
