Hi all,
I want to use the super fast pretty easy menu authoring from Multiavchd but i have a question :
When you make a background animated menu Multiavchd encode the file and i'm a bit worried about the blueray compliant...Cause Multiavchd is for anyone, i can't know what it's doing when it encodes something and the background menu is a big part of a compliant project...
Question to all user who use multiavchd with blueray output : have you seen some problem when you use animated background ? Is there some important setting to reach a good output ?
Btw, m2ts compliant files on the playlist are not modified which is cool (cause i use other reliable tools, my m2ts movies must stay as they are without modification).
Thx in adv for your info,
Max.

I use the animated menu all the time, it works great. The problem as some people have pointed out is it is not compliant with the specs and is not guaranteed to work on all bluray players. The only ones I have not seen it work on is Panasonic players, but there is a specific template for Pansonics that put everything in strict mode. Best bet is to try it on an RW and see if your player likes it. I have converted most of my anime collection to bluray with no real troubles, and they work great in my ps3, my computer, and all my friends who do not have a Panasonic player :) And my collection is over 500 dvd's of anime. So this is saving me a lot of shelf space and I can just put the originals into storage in the basement.
As for output, you have 3 options, normal, high and very high. Take your pick, try it out and see what you like. For tv shows I use normal, but for movies I use high. The motion menus can take up a lot of space for 32 seconds, at most almost 100 megs! So choose wisely, and what is best for your source.

Thx for your reply , but i find a way to reach compliant blueray : encode menu mpg2 option. When you use this multiavchd option, menu files are compliant (at least verified 'ok' with pro tool)
