Hi all!

I am using this TBC for analog capture. Question simple, this TBC introduce audio delay or not?

Since it has a full-frame memory there should be a delay of one frame, that is 40ms for PAL and 33ms for NTSC. The TBC has to wait until the whole frame of two fields is stored and processed before it can be output again and that should take at least as long as the duration of a full frame. But, that's just the theory.

Doesn't it say something about audio in the manual?

Because it doesn't treat audio, only video. It should mention something called latency or similar.

And you should kow whether is there a delay or not, as you own one.

I wrote a sync detector script, if I update that to include audio it can be more helpful. Maybe if I generate clicks, you can see the synchronization?

Today I make recapture 4 times the same fragment. First was from VHS, remaining 3 from DVD. I see how audio go forward from video.
I need introduce delay for audio 40 ms like suggested TheSkiller.
yup.
