Directors cut (Out)?

Tried to backup M=I 2 without directors commentary, but i have no clue how to:rolleyes:

If it's audio you just need to select the right audio stream. It's usually the first.

There are two audio streams:
1) 6 channel
2) 2 channel

I tried both but both give the normal audio but in the background this irritating directors commentary.

It's probably a problem with the DVD then. It could also be, but I doubt it, that the correct audio stream is something other then Dolby. Possibly DTS. DVD2SVCD does not work with anything, but a Dolby encoded audio stream.

Have you tried playing the DVD in a software DVD player to see if the problem happens there as well? If not what audio is it using Dolby, DTS or other?

The audio is Dolby digital 5.1 and i tried to play it from the disc and also after ripping played the Vob's from HD and it gave the normal audio, very strange that after encoding through the normal audio is the directors commentary, if you could get your hand on mission impossible II you can check it for yourself, i do not know how to filter this out, mabey somebody else has an idea

Nobody has any clue? If not than it should be posted (as intended) to the advanced section:p

do the following:

a)use DVD2AVI to demux ALL audio tracks (if you don´t know how to do it, have a look at doom9´s guide)
b)listen each one demuxed audio track. The name of those audio has a number T01...T0X, and the X is the number of the track in the ifo file. Verify what track has the desired audio.
c)encode this audio using those commands that where used by dvd2svcd in the audio encoding step (have a look at the log file);
d) restart the dvd2svcd process from "muxing and cutting".
