Splitting avi's (how to)

Hey you all,

I'm new to this list but i have been tracking it for
a couple of weeks.

I'm using Gknot and i have two questions:

- Why doesn't Gknot make 2 avi's when i select 2 x 650 MB ?
I only get 1 avi with the size off 1200 MB

- how can i manually split this avi in two pieces.
I've tried to save as "segmeted avi" but that won't help because the second file can't be read from cd

Must be somthing simple i guess, hope someone can help me.

Hi TripleS-

They're easy to split. In Doom9's Guides area look for the Virtual Dub Guide, and you'll find a section in there about how to split an .avi.
