I used DVD2AVI to create a project.
It outputs a project file and a wav file
The problem (I think) is that the wav file is 2.3GB
When I play it in virtualdub it seems to work until It gets to a certain frame near the end.
Is there a 2GB limit for wav files?
I tried compressing this wav file to mp3, but when I imported it into virtualdub, I couldnt hear anything.

What's your source? DVD? If yes, demux AC3 and follow the guides.

the best way to do it is to demux ac3 and use besweet to convert to mp3. However, you can also just use lame to encode that .wav to mp3. It should work and I do not know of any 2GB limitations on wav files.
