Subtitles - AVI2SVCD

I have 2 questions:
Does AVI2SVCD support the use of subtitles (.srt files for example)?
Does it work with DivX?

when u select avi2svcd
you'll notice that the subtitles tab disappears
so hmm
what would be your guess ;)
