Hi,

I have a movie from 2 different DVD9s...called Robot (2010).

One is in the Tamil language, and the other Hindi.

SINCE I can understand most of Hindi, I'd like to use that audio for the video from the Tamil DVD9 because the picture is uncropped...while the Hindi DVD9 was HEAVILY CROPPED from right & left and slightly from top/bottom.

In order to get a better viewing experience, I'd like to use the Hindi audio with my full frame. I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND, that it'll NOW be a 'dubbed' version and I'm fine with that.

NOW to the audio: (info taken from DelayCut)
& video: (info taken from VDub)

Hindi audio length: 02:49:37.280
Hindi video length: 02:49:43.907
Running time in VLC Player for the movie: 02:49:33

Tamil audio length: 03:14:37.280
Tamil video length: 02:50:05.929
Running time in VLC Player for the movie: 02:49:58

Could you folks suggest a way I can synch up my Hindi audio as 'best' I can with the Tamil video length? There ARE some English language parts which I guess COULD play a hand in synching the
lips to my audio. Thanks so much.

This is just crazy...

I just discovered something. The 'good' video DVD9 is actually using DUBBED "Telugu language" audio. The 'bad' video DVD9 is actually using DUBBED "Hindi language" audio. This movie was SHOT in "Tamil language" for their audience...but when the DVD9s came out, I have the Telugu audio and Hindi audio...wow. THEY ARE BOTH dubbed.

When I encode my MPEG-2 for my new DVD9...it won't make a difference then one way or another...right? Audios will never match up perfectly anyway to what they are actually speaking!

:( Fudge!!!
