Splitting to 2 DVD-R

After im done running my ripped files through ifoedit do i still need the other ripped files that i origanlly ripped off smartripper?

Nobody can tell you that.
You have to find out yourself, which other of the title-sets you will be needing.

The best player to check this out is still Matrox DVD Player (QI Player).

PowerDVD 4.0 is to tolerant. It will play the most ripped files from HD, but it's not sure, that it will play in your settop player.
