OK, sometimes you have to ask a question that others might find stupid. I noticed that the default resize parameters in the AVIsynth file, starting (I think) in build 2 or 3 of Version 1.06 of DVD2SVCD are now 480x360. I checked a prior AVISynth file from Build 1 and confirmed that the default used to be 480x480. Why the change?
The reason why I ask is that I have been playing around with files to get the best possible result from playing off of a hard disk rather than burning to CDR -- I multiplex the video with the original 6 channel AC3 (sounds good with a 5.1 card and speaker setup) and thought that 720x480 resolution might also improve the experience (and also allow the resulting file to be burned to DVD-R at some point in the future). However I noticed the change in default mentioned above and, with at least one movie, when I change the parameters to 720x480 I get a CCE error message stating that CCE doesn't support 720x600 resolution nor anything above 720x576 (that was not my setting).
Am I missing something? Any ideas?
