Hello,

What are the best subtitle settings for a 1080p movie on a (PS3) 42"/107 cm screen?

(tsMuxeR)

Best font, size, bottom offset etc.

Thanks! :)

P.S. Sorry for my (bad) English.

You may want to use multiAVCHD (which in turn uses tsmuxer if you insist on using it) to compile your movie for PS3. The default values should work well for PS3, since the creator of multiAVCHD has himself a PS3.

Ah. I'm using multiAVCHD to, but I use tsMuxeR and multiAVCHD seperatly. I do it like this: 1) First I remux my .mkv to a AVCHD disk (with txMuxeR). 2) And then I open the BDMV folder with multiAVCHD to make a AVCHD file for PS3. I didn't knew I could use tsMuxeR inside multiAVCHD itself. Where can I find that option ''using tsMuxeR inside multiAVCHD'' exactly? Looks easy'er if you do it your way then, because your only using one program (instead of tsMuxeR separated).

Thanks! :)

No, multiAVCHD is more than a simple GUI, but it does internally use tsmuxer for muxing/demuxing/remuxing purposes.
Just load the MKV into multiAVCHD and live happy (most steps are automatic, default values go ok, but you need some creativity eg when authoring the menus)

Thanks, that's working! :)

But I got another problem now; the movie that I downloaded is 1080p (file name; m-boe-1080p-rpk) but when I open it in multiAVCHD it's saying:

[14:37:48] Detected frame reference count: 5 (max:4). - What does this mean?

And:

[14:37:48] Video height (800) not compliant (480/576/720/1080)! Final output may be distorted.

- I thought that 1080p movies were always 1920x1080.

And if I play the file on my PS3 it looks like this:

Can somebody help me please?

Thanks! :)

It says that's pirated content - see rule 6.

Hm, that's strange, isn't it?

Every Blu ray I have does have 1920x1080.
