I reposted this into a new thread because so many people had read my earlier post in which I thought I had solved the problem but it was not so. I got the following error messages on two computers now:
Unknown FPS. CCE Reported 2 FPS number
Any ideas ??

Hi DVDHack,
did you already read this thread?

Are you using a title picture? - If so, try without it to sort this error out.

Well spotted, same error, different problem. I don't use the change CD Picture or the Title Picture so it must be something else.
Thanks a lot for the try.

i also have recently(1.0.6b3 only) got this problem. It seems it might be with the avs script because playing the script in mediaplayer it shows something in red about whatever deinterlacing filter I am using. It appears that this version somehow has "gotten rid" of the deinterlacing filters. I'm not a big AVIsynth guy so i'm not sure what's involved in "re-registering"? them, but i'm pretty sure it would be as simple as that.

i did a lot of playing around last night and noticed the following:
This seems to be a valid avs file
LoadPlugin("C:\PROGRA~1\DVD2SVCD\SIMPLE~1\SIMPLE~1.DLL")
LoadPlugin("C:\PROGRA~1\DVD2SVCD\MPEG2Dec\mpeg2dec.dll")
mpeg2source("C:\Video\DVD2AV~1.D2V")
This is not
LoadPlugin("C:\PROGRA~1\DVD2SVCD\SIMPLE~1\SIMPLE~1.DLL")
LoadPlugin("C:\PROGRA~1\DVD2SVCD\MPEG2Dec\mpeg2dec.dll")
mpeg2source("")
And nor is this
LoadPlugin("C:\PROGRA~1\DVD2SVCD\SIMPLE~1\SIMPLE~1.DLL")
LoadPlugin("C:\PROGRA~1\DVD2SVCD\MPEG2Dec\mpeg2dec.dll")
mpeg2source("C:\Video\AVISYN~1.AVI")
All were created by DVD2SVCD, Hmmmm not sure why but I think I have a solution for myself - I'll edit the file when it crashed to the top one.
I'll let everyone know when I get a chance to test.
@DVD2SVCD
Any idea why I get the above variations. I get the above variations even when I do a clean attemp of ripping through to image process not just on a restart.

Did you already try to completely uninstall the dvd2svcd bundle, delete eventually left files from directory, reboot your computer, do a complete reinstall of dvd2svcd and setting the file pathes again? Also try to reinstall CCE.
Just a guess from experiences with other programs,

[Edit]
Ups! - dvd2svcd 1.0.6 Build 4 just got out fixing one type of "FPS Error" - Try it and see if it fixes the problem.
