Hi guys
I need to buy a DVD writer. I want to buy PIONEER A03 IDE
But I have a question. I think ScenaristNT only writes on SCSI devices. Is it true ? If it is true , I can't buy A03.

So please help me.

Thanks in advance

Sherlock

I guess you haven't visited the sonic site lately. What version of Scenarist do you have?

If you have a retail version you are entitled to a free upgrade that will indeed burn to A03. If not just use prassi that comes with the Pioneer. You make your "dummy" dvd and check it out then burn it with prassi.

I personally like this way better. Prassi's expertise is in burning hardware and Sonics is in DVD authoring, if you catch my drift.

I use v2.5.1.0211 never tried to burn a DVD with it yet.

I get it. But my question is different.
I am using Scenarist 2.51
But I need to know Scenarist can write on IDE devices , or it can only write on SCSI devices or it can write on both of'em.

A03 is an ide device. So if you can upgrade it will write to an ide.

Look in the manual to see the specs of what you have

Sherlock -

Try reading (slowly) what someone is trying to tell you above ....

Upgrade the software (if its legal) and you can wrtie to either IDE or SCSI.....

I think this is clear from what is stated above....Unless you think we are all thick or something an you need to speak slowly to us....
