Hi,

I do a fair few conversions and now all of a sudden i am getting synch probs. Firstly i get an uncompressed wav and then put video and audio in TMPG and then encode. The output is out of synch. In the beginning it is in synch, but slowly goes further and further out of synch. I have tried using uncompressed avi as well, but it still has the same problem. The sound is fine when i watch the divx avi and i think it is cbr as no message came up when i opened it with virtual dub. Would decompressing it make it go out of synch?

i decided to put my decompressed wav with my avi (to see if the decompressing was making it out of synch) and it is. Once i put it back together it is out of synch...help?

I also tried putting the avi in cce and see if it could do something with it. When i added it, it came up with an error with the framerate saying that it isnt supported. So i checked what the framerate actually is and its 30.014 (im am encoding a family guy episode) I am making it a pal (25fps) vcd...i think i might try and encode it at 30 fps or something...and hopefully that will playback on my dvd player...

but if you think you might know how to solve this problem please help.
