Real simple question..What the hell does it DO exactly? Gknot will make one for me but I don't have a clue what it does. Is it a GOOD thing to use one..or an Ehhhhh thing to use one? I will always use it when a rip comes in under 70% (because I am a lackey and will follow directions...but it is time to question authority!) and since I am NO authority on the subject, I had a rip come in at 70.7 on my 1rst pass according to Gknot. Would I still want to do another 1rst pass with an ECF? That is assuming 70%=GREAT. Would using an ECF file to do another 1rst pass make it any better?
