I have a 35 gig MPEG-2 movie I want to put on a 25gig BD-R. Can I use BD Rebuilder to do this?
sorry if it's a noob question. I tried to search but couldn't find a solid answer.
thanks!

Hi!
I believe your purpose can be accomplished if you first drop the .TS file into "tsMuxeR" and resave as "Blu-ray". Then use BD-RB set to "movie-only"...

thanks for the response! do you mind elaborating a bit more? How exactly do I "drop" the .TS file into TSmuxer? I tried opening TSMuxer but it just frooze. Maybe I need a new version.

To be more specific, I should have said, "the tsMuxeR GUI"...

nope, never mind it doesn't work. When I try to load the file BD rebuilder says "The selected path length exceeds current limits. Cannot process"

Well, that sounds like a very specific and easily fixable problem.
You need to ensure the BD structure which TsMuxer created is in a sensible place, like D:\BD, not somewhere with a path length hundreds of characters long like C:\ Blah blah blah...\.
( The drive letters I used there were just examples. Use whatever drive has enough space. )
I'd also make sure the TsMuxer output path name is 'clean', ie contains no spaces or wierd characters, just letters and numbers. Use dash or underscore if you must have a space. That's why I suggested a simple folder off the drive root, rather than somewhere in 'My Documents' for example.
eg: "D:\BD_Files\Movie_Name" is good.

If it's not a Blu-ray compliant resolution, I don't believe it will work. ;)

@gomes009 "The selected path length exceeds current limits. Cannot process"As "Stormcrow" suggested, this is indicative of a path that contains too many characters...
