Does anyone know a CD-R/W drive that doesn't pass the Disk Application Type marker of a Computer CDR (as opposed to Audio CRD - "unrestricted use") to the IDE interface (to be read by the software application)?

Try remembering rule 11. It would help you avoid strikes.
