Hello, i have a toshiba sd210e with the svcd's synch sound pb( audio comes 0,255 ms after video on all svcd's).
I want to modify some svcd's before burning them ....
So Would like some help to know the best/fatest way to resynch the sound (delete the first 0.255ms on the audio track) on svcd's which play perfectly under windows ...
Thanx for any help ...

Hi ibis,
i have the same player and from my experience you have to mux with at least a gap of 120ms between video and audio (i use dvd2svcd and 240ms for video and 120ms for audio1 and 2 in bbMPEG tab). Resulting MPEGs just play fine with Mediaplayer, PowerDVD, WinDVD and other Standalones (Grundig GDV-130, Philips DV-761, Denon DVD 1000).

Hi,I also have a sd210 and am experiencing the same problem.I was wondering when you set the startup delays to 240-120-120 do you leave the movie offset seconds on the default of 2 or set it to zero.I have succesfully managed a couple of rips but always with this small synch problem. The settings I was using are startup delays 0-0-0 as I didnt realise it needed altering and the default of 2 in the movie offset setting many thanks in advance

Hi greg19,
are you using the latest version of dvd2svcd (1.0.6 Build 4)? The default settings were changed back to 180-180-180 with it (0-0-0 were the defaults with only a few 1.0.6 versions).
I use the 2 sec for movie offset just to be on the safe side for playing the SVCDs on other players (that can have some troubles when using 0 sec) although the toshiba plays them just fine with 0 sec offset.
So try just 240-120-120 (as it differs by only 60ms to both sides of the defaults) and leave the 2 sec movie offset (just to be sure you won't experience sync issues with other players). ;)

Hi greg19,
i definitively recommend using the latest build as there were quite some bug fixings during the last versions especially for some audio glitches and the bitrate calculation part.
Here is the latest readme.txt - so see for yourself. ;)
