trying to back up my shrek dvd , it rips fine, and the audio encode is fine, but then 19% into a 5 pass video encode it just doesn't move on , and althought it says the process is running in the task manager it is not.
This has happened 4 times with the same dvd, i tried to do a 2 pass and the same problem occured at 48% completion.
i click bug report and it says access violation at an address then it gives a number.
my pc is a 1.4 ddr athlon with 256 ddr ram, anf XP is my OS.
Anyone got any ideas?

Hi stadd,

it's a well-known CCE issue and was/is heavily discussed in the forums, so use the search button and read the threads for further information.

A quick notice on your problem:
You can try to use the "safe mode" in CCE tab as Shrek is one of those DVDs that often brings CCE to crash. With "safe mode" (since 1.0.6 Build 2) it sometimes finishes without hanging but you have to try on your own and/or read the threads for other suggestions on this topic.

HTH,

P.S. Encoding speed will go down by about 30% when using safe mode!
