Free DTS Encoding Suite?

Hey Guys...

I just have one quick question:

Is there any DTS (HD) Authoring tool, that is available for free? (like aften or so for Ac3)

I've heard, that EAC3TO might be able to do the job...

Nothing free available. eac3to uses the SurCode DVD DTS encoder if you have it. There is a demo version of it. I don't know what limitations it comes with.

hmm - that would have made sense, if the informations were important. But that is not the case....there are tons of forum-postings here and everywhere else in the internet, where people (stupid) like me ask the same question and are getting the same answers everytime...

so:

There is no free DTS-Encoder...there are only 2 or 3 which do the job, and they cost a few bucks...

No need to quote other forum entries here...

Why you need DTS (HD)? When you have AC3 or FLAC or AAC? Any special reason?

hey....my question was just for my personal information...is it allowed to ask for informations, even if i do NOT want to use them immidiately?

Its just for me to keep everything up to date...some kind of knowledge-thing...the internet is big and sometimes i do not recognize all changes outthere...
