I went to www.VCDhelper.com but that website is completely worthless. So here is my question.

I have a .bin and .cue files (downloaded). Now how do I make them SVCD compliant (file structure) in order to burn with Easy CD Creator Platinum?

Also, when I try to view them (I converted them to MPEG files and also DAT) my ATI Fileplayer it doesn't recognize the file as an MPEG2. Is there a way to view these files at all?!

Is there a step by step tutorial that includes everything I need to know how to make an SVCD (what all the jargon is etc. what pitfalls there are to look out for etc.)?

Thanks for any help,

Are you using DVD2SVCD?
If not then this is the wrong forum. I suggest the SVCD forum instead.
Read the Newbie FAQ there are guides in there for several CD-R pieces of software. I personally use CDRWIN or VCDeasy.

Roxio/Adaptec EZ-Cdcreator software stinks for SVCD's. It isn't even covered at all because it is so bad at SVCD's.

As markrb said, ezcd sucks.

But if left no other choise the only way I'd burn an svcd is to mount the bin/cue in daemon tools (a free and very stable virtual cd rom program) and then do a disc-to-disc copy in ezcd.

You should use powerdvd or windvd to view the files. Windows media player may work if you have the appropriate codecs installed. These are installed byu the afforementioned products.
