what is ssif file in bdmv folder? thats a content of 3d blu-ray movie?i decrypted shrek 3d movie and total disc size is 33,1gb but also ssif file is 33,1gb when i checked the folder of blu-ray disc,showing so high,what makes different size on disc and folders?
folder size in disc 66,2gb(bdmv,certificate)
total disc size 33,1gb(when i checked with right click on computer)
when i tried to convert bd50 to bd25,i getting problem about capacity.

the siff file is the same size as the left and right eye m2ts streams combined, its kind of a red herring as it shares the same sectors on the disc as the m2ts files. Although there are no mvc encoders available to the public it could be possible re-encode/remux the left eyestream so you could fit it onto a bd25 (if there was a way of creating a new siff file also)

is it possible to reduce the size?i did with dvdfab 50gb to 25gb,but siff folder was deleted :( if i record to bdr,will possible to play on ps3 as 3d?

no. your only real option at this time is to do a side by side encode.

If you just want to burn a backup of your blu-ray disc, rip it as an image file. That's the only way to properly duplicate a 3D title with no problems. In this case, you will need a 50GB BD-R though, which I think are still pricey, so maybe that's not the option you were hoping for...

Not quite, some people report that a copied disc ( iso of course ) does not run in their player, but the original did.

I suppose that's possible, but you will never get it to work by burning the ripped folder structure...
It works in the PS3... :) I suspect that 3D is still a little too new for now though, people are still trying to figure it all out.
