hi..
i was running dvd2svcd when i ran out of hd space. vcd imager was running and it stopped so i only have 1 cue file created and vcdimager failed whilst creating that.
i have deleated the vob files and so have freed enough space and need to run vcd imager to create the neccessary cue files.
I have tried to use vcd imager but just dont know how to do what i need. The bbmpg files are all created and are fine.
i havnt used dvd2svcd for a long time and when this problem occured i was still using the old version and hence cannot simply use the recovery function.
I have tried posting this on the newbie forun but no one is able to help.
your help will be very much appreciated.

The easiest way is just to grab the latest Nero version and burn it as an SVCD. You will not have chapters, but it should work.
If you need chapters try using TSCV. There is a guide on doom9.
As for the forum selection. Most people do go to both. Weekends have the lowest amount of traffic. If you have any doubt just keep it in the newbie forum.

Because nero-burned mpegs create problems on some DVD players, a safer option might be to use vcdimager if you don't care about chapters.
Copy vcdimager to where the mpegs are and type the following in a DOS box:
vcdimager --type=svcd --bin-file=C:\disc1.bin --cue-file=C:\disc1.cue bbMPEG_Muxed_File00.mpg
You can use bin and cue filenames of your choise. And you have to change the mpg to 01 and 02, etc.

Though i don't know what version of dvd2svcd you are using, i think the dvd2svcd_log.txt file must still be on your HD (if not deleted by you). So you can open it (with notepad) and have a look at the commands for the image creation.
Provided that all necessary files are still on your HD, you can use these commands to finish the image creation.
Just a guess,

I use TSCV as a GUI to make my images with VCDImager because I also never remind the syntax. ;)

Hi inspiron2002
IF you have had such a problem with the process of creating automatically your Images, try next time just VCDEasy! VCDEasy is a Frontend for all these programs like vcdimager, vcdxbuild and even cdrdao! So you can just make there a new SVCD-Project with some clicks of your mouse and you don´t need to have the experience like you have to for TSCV! Just set up your CDRW and load your made mpegfile from bbmpeg! then go to Options (you have to use the expert mode) and turn PBC on! Now after analyzing your mpegfile you have the oportunity to make a chapterlist! and after that just hit go and get your best playing SVCD´s out of your CDRW-Burner! I have had best experiences with burning at a lower Speed like 8x or 12x, if you increase the Speed of Burning (relating to your CDRW-Burner) i had a lot of Plops and glitches with my Cyberhome DVD-Player and also my friends had them with their Yamakawas!
So long answer short advice take VCDEasy and enjoy the Easy-Part of that really useful program!

Bye and good Luck Chief Earl!
