I happened to notice that for the recently released single disc version of "Disney's Oceans", it is reported in Windows' Explorer as having a disc size of 46.6Gb, yet the combined filesize of all files on the disc is only 33.5Gb (Including the main movie of 24.4Gb, so seamless branching for languages would be too much to account for the difference).

This would seem to indicate that there is 13+Gb of data on the disc that is not represented/addressable in the "normal" disc directories.

Does anyone know what accounts for this difference?

I wonder if it could be bogus sectors being written to the disc. Its been going on with DVDs for a long time now. It "could" also be some PC based materials.

Just guessing here...
