Got an email from a Japanese computer magazine today... they want to put an ffdshow distro on the disc that ships with an upcoming issue.
Is there someplace I can forward that request to?

Although my answer is a bit late: Who would that be? Too many authors involved to contact them all. Since it's released under GPL they just have to provide the source with it or deliver it on request, right?

clsid2 seems the right person, and if he doesnt want to do it he can point the way to someone who does.

Tell them to read the GPL. I personally don't care if or how they distribute ffdshow, but other authors might prefer that they strictly follow the GPL. Including a shortcut link to ffdshow's SF project page would probably suffice as credits/source.

That would be ok.

We received 1 or 2 requests from a well-known and respected German magazine (c't Magazin) in the past. Leak filled out a form and that was it. It covered things like homepage, OS support, features etc. AFAIK, the source was not bundled with the DVD.
