Hi all,
Since I started now to compile thwe dvd with 2 languages I now wnt to add subtitles.
I found my dvd player (scott...) and saw that I have to user cvd subtitles :( - unfortunately I choosed svcd during the last week.
Hm, and now I tried to look my svcd with powerdvd - and I have no subtitles at all.... :confused:
Any hints welcome

Scotty, please read the Q&A before you post too many questions.
If you still have all the files from your encoding, go into the subtitle tab and select CVD, and then start a crash recovery in the misc. tab, starting from SVCD authoring. If you don't have the files, you have to start from scratch.

Hi scotty,
PowerDVD and WinDVD don't support subtitles for SVCD playback.:(
Right now, i don't know any windows software player that supports SVCD subtitles.

I think I wil have all the files - I just added 160 GB harddisc as a stripset...works wonderful.... :)
Ok, I will go through the Q&A once more....

DVD2SVCD, of course you are right...
QA16 and Q17 of the RTF Q&A....
