firstly i have created numerous flawless svcds with dvd2svcd so you can safely assume that there are no problems with my set up etc. the program is superb, props to the creator!
anyways we're talking problem dvds here, the one in question being oasis - live by the seas pal region 2, and ripping the extras. the major problem is is that the mpeg2 in the vobs seems dodgy, in that when i play the music video in question the time (on windvd and my standalone) goes 1,2,3,1,5 and pauses a lot for the first 5 secs then proceeds to work fine. this means when i use dvd2svcd it just ignores the first 5 secs of video and then the audio is also out of sync by 5 secs! what do you advise i do?
oh yeah to play an svcd on my standalone i do need to downsample to 44.1 right - or will it cope with 48?
