Ok, this is my first attempt at converting an avi to a svcd format so go easy on me... :)
I'm following doom9's avi -> vcd/svcd guide (http://www.doom9.org/mpg/avi2svcd.htm), but I'm having some trouble near the end.

Not sure if the following information is important...but this is what I have done so far (hopefully they are correct). Ok my video source has a framerate of 23.976fps, contains a VBR MP3 audio track. Then I saved the uncompressed wav on my hd with Virtual Dub. I skipped step 1 of the guide since I wasn't going to convert to PAL. I loaded up the correct video and audio sources in TMPGenc (using version 2.51) and then loaded up the SVCD NTSCfilm template. Then I changed the settings to Automatic VBR (with Quality parameter at 55, min at 0, max at 2498). The encoding went fine and now I have my mpg file. This is where my problem occurs. The guide says "If you have an mpg file go to the TMPG MPEG Tools (File -> MPEG Tools) and load your mpg file then press Run." Ok well I loaded my mpg file, but then after I press run, TMPGenc just kinda freezes there...

Any suggestions? Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question...I'm just kinda new at this...
